It all started in 1983 when Dave and Isabel decided to open a small bar in the basement of 14 Madison Avenue. Then over the years we grew, and grew some more; now we occupy 3 Victorian mansions with several bars and multiple patios, all interconnected. Thanks to our unique style and labyrinthine layout, we are famous throughout the world. Beautifully designed for comfort and intimacy, all of our pubs display a distinct British flair with tastefully decorated walls, brass fittings, oak bars and comfortable booths. Each of our rooms has its own special attributes which help make The Maddy the perfect hangout spot for anybody and everybody.
